Star Trek making an Appearance at Comic-Con

According to Paramount, the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con will host both Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy panels. Hall H will host the Star Trek Universe panel and include cast from both shows on July 26th. Along with other special displays and other fan events.

With the upcoming third season of Strange New Worlds starting July 17, speculation remains as to what they may talk about. A new preview, surprise guests would be almost expected. It is a bit sad to already know that the series is ending with the season 5 partial order of 6 episodes, and as the recent post from episode 405 director Jordan Canning,

shows production is already halfway through filming season 4, we won’t have much longer before the final season is filmed.

Regarding the Star Trek: Starfleet Academy series, beyond the cast and crew, we can hopefully expect a preview soon, as the show is likely set to premiere early next year. With returning alumnus Robert Picardo from Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Prodigy joining the cast, it will be fascinating to see how this new series continues within the Star Trek: Discovery 32nd-century timeline. The show has already been renewed for a second season.
